We stopped by Scorpio Coffee in Sacramento during our road trip, and it was a fantastic find! The coffee was delicious and just what we needed to wake up. The mushroom toast was a real standout, super unusual and tasty. It's not something you come across often, and it added a unique twist to our visit. The place was pretty busy, but we managed to find a table quickly. If you're passing through Sacramento, this coffee spot is definitely worth a visit. You'll enjoy both the great coffee and the memorable mushroom toast!

Definitely one of the BEST cafes in Sacramento! The cafe is quite small with not a lot of seating room but their food/drinks are top notch. Service is very efficient and everyone is so kind. On the weekends it gets really busy, so I prefer to go on the weekdays as it's hard to find street parking.

I stopped by this coffee shop while on vacation! This is by far one of the best coffee shops I have went to in a while. The matcha was amazing and the cookie was absolutely delicious! The service was super fast. I would say this would be a place to get to early just because it is in downtown Sacramento and the parking is not the best and it gets pretty busy, but they are fast so worth it.

This is hands down one of the best coffee shops in Sac, perfect for getting some work done or just enjoying a great cup of coffee! My wife and I have visited several times in the morning to get some work done, and we've always found seating. The space is spotless, with a modern Japandi vibe that perfectly complements the coffee shop atmosphere. The Japanese influence shines through in their branding, interior design, and offerings which is a breath of fresh air from the other coffee shops around. The service is dependable, but it's their selections that truly steal the spotlight. My wife always sticks to her favorite combo, a chai latte and coffee cake muffin (which she absolutely loves), while I enjoy exploring the menu. I've tried the höjicha tea latte, cold soba noodles, and matcha latte, and I can confidently say they're all exceptional!! This has quickly become one of our go-to spots in Sacramento, and we're thrilled to have such a fantastic place to experience in the city.

I usually come here just for the coffee but I tried the strawberry miso toast. It was quite pricy ($14!). I'm not sure if it's worth the price but it was very yummy. The bread is a thick milk bread slice with strawberry jam and ricotta cheese. I'm not sure where the miso was per se but in general it was a nice, sweet treat.

Scorpio Coffee has really positive vibes. Great place to come for a coffee date or to read/do some work. Service was really speedy and they brought out our drinks for us while we sat on their outdoor patio tables. My matcha was lightly sweetened and had a strong matcha taste, I quite enjoyed it.

Best chocolate chip cookie (with walnut). There are long lines on weekends, which means there are more competition for my cookies. Matcha and latte were both delicious, but the cookies are mind-blowing.

This place was recommended to me by a Sacramento local, and honestly, I am SO happy they referred me here for their matcha (I LOVE a good quality matcha latter). The cafe was very small and modern, which was comforting in a sense for me, and the staff were very efficient. The thing that really made me feel good about this place was the iced matcha latte that was recommended to me from the get-go. It tasted of good quality and had a smooth flavor to it. Highly recommend trying this little place out for a matcha fix. I will note that there is 1 hour parking around the area, so take this into account if you are wanting to find a study spot or a place to hang out.

*Clap clap clap* Such a treat to have a coffee shop like this in the Sac region. First off, I'm blown away by the cold soba noodles. The broth is an umami bomb: super smooth taste without being overly salty. One of the best soba noodle broths that I've tried. The cured mackerel is such a nice addition; melt-in-your-mouth succulent! The strawberry miso toast is quite delicious as well albeit more straightforward in taste. Pretty much like a fluffy strawberry cream cheese spread on top of a slice of buttery and crispy thick toast. A crowd-pleaser for sure. No skimping on the chocolate in the chocolate chip walnut cookie. Although the cookie is a little crumbly on the edges the thick center is really soft and even kinda gives off some Levain cookie vibes (IYKYK). Soothing hojicha latte. Kinda wished that the hojicha flavor was more bold but I still enjoyed the cup. Very friendly and patient staff. I visited on a weekend and street parking on 16th Street at the time was sparse but not impossible (recommend just turning onto S Street). Weekend rush begins at around 9 am.
